The Tilekit app sends nothing to anyone. This page lists every piece of data the website holds, where it lives, and who else can see it.

The short version
The app has no telemetry and makes no network requests. What happens on your Mac stays on your Mac.
The website counts downloads without storing IP addresses, keeps contact-form messages you send, and keeps billing records if you buy a licence. No accounts, no advertising, no cross-site tracking.
DEV360 LLC is the controller of that data. Contact: [email protected].
The Mac app
Tilekit runs entirely on your Mac and needs no account. It does not contact our servers or anyone else's: no update check, no crash reporting, no usage analytics.
It needs macOS Accessibility access to move and resize windows. It uses that access only to read the position and size of the focused window and to change them. It does not read window contents, keystrokes outside its own shortcuts, or anything you type.
Your shortcut settings, and your licence key if you enter one, are stored locally in the app's preferences. The key is checked on your Mac against a signature; checking it involves no network request.
Downloads
When you download Tilekit from tilekit.dev, we record:
- the time and the app version,
- your country, as reported by our host,
- the referring site or campaign tag (such as utm_source) that brought you, and
- a keyed hash of your IP address, so repeat downloads can be told apart. The IP address itself is never stored, and the hash can't be reversed without a secret key that only we hold.
The contact form
If you send a message, we receive the name (optional), email address and message you enter. They are delivered to our inbox by email and used only to reply to you.
To block spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser and IP address for signs of automation. It is not used for advertising or to track you across sites.
If you buy a licence
Payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe's checkout page. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never sent to, seen by or stored on our servers.
Stripe shares with us the details needed to run the sale: your name, email address, billing country (and full billing address or tax ID if you enter one for an invoice), the number of seats and the amount. Stripe holds the payment data itself under its own privacy policy.
Your licence key contains the email address you paid with, the number of seats and the purchase date, so the app can show who it's licensed to. We email the key to that address once.
The website
tilekit.dev sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies and keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for operational and security purposes.
Who else sees it
Three companies, each for one job:
- Cloudflare: hosts the site and the download counter, and runs Turnstile spam protection.
- Resend: delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
- Stripe: payments, receipts, invoices and refunds.
That is the complete list. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We would disclose data if the law required it, and we would tell you unless we were prohibited from doing so.
How long we keep it
- Download records: kept to see how Tilekit is found and used; you can ask us to delete them.
- Messages: kept in our inbox for as long as the conversation is useful; deleted on request.
- Billing records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Email [email protected] and we will act on any of these:
- A copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correction of anything that is wrong.
- Deletion of your data. Billing records we are legally required to keep are the exception, and we will say so.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. We will honour a request under any of them.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
